Samedi 17 Mars 2012: à L'Artocarpe à 15h00. Réunion des photographes de la Maison Caibéenne de la Photographie (MCP). L'Artocarpe fait place à la photographie contemporaine en partenariat avec la Maison Caribéenne de la Photographie (MCP)!
Un seance de travail pour les photographes-membres de L'Artocarpe, affiliés à la MCP avec qui nous avons le projet de faire une exposition aura lieu le samedi 17 mars à 15h00 à L'Artocarpe!

Cela concerne au moins 7 membres de L'Artocarpe à qui nous rappelons la nécessité d'arriver avec au moins une photo (voir notes de la réunion!)

19 au 23 mars 2012: Sébastien Jean est en Martinique avec l'école d'art

23 au 31 mars 2012: Exposition de sculptures de Sébastien Jean au Terra Festival

Vendredi 23 mars 2012: vernissage de l'exposition de l'artiste-membre de L'Artocarpe Henri Tauliaut (Guadeloupe) Exposition reportée à une date ultérieure qui sera annoncée sur le site*

11 Mai au 11 Juin 2012- Biennale de Cuba: Joëlle Ferly seule artiste de Guadeloupe sélectionnée par le commissaire José Manuel NOCEDA. Elle présentera deux performances.

Dimanche 27 Mai au 03 Juin 2012: 2X2 Exposition des artistes-membres Mariel et Jean-Michel Philibert ainsi que Hélène Valenzuela et Yves Bercion à L'Artocarpe. Voir la section Art(o)work pour des exemples de leurs oeuvres.

Lundi 28 Mai au Dimanche 03 Juin 2012: Gosier Hotels - L'Artocarpe participe au colloque des Caribbean Studies Association avec Gina Ulysse

*L'artiste est toujours en attente des financements pour son projet

MCP is the Caribbean House of Photography. A photographic exhibition project is planned to take place at L'Artocarpe by the MCP and should focus on contemporary photography. No date scheduled yet as, as usual, we first concentrate on the work!!!!
A first meeting has been set up on Sunday 17th March 2012 for all photographers members of the MCP who are required to come along with at least an artwork on the theme: Snapshot revisited

Friday 23rd March: Henri Tauliaut (member-artist from Guadeloupe)'s exhibition is postponed to a later date yet to be announced by the artist. We shall keep you informed on this website! Apology for the inconvenience caused.

11 May to 11 Juin 2012: Bienale de la Havana - Artocarpe artist Joëlle Ferly is the only artist from Guadeloupe to be invited by José Manuel Nocéda to present two performance pieces at the important event.

Sunday 27th May au 03rd June 2012: Double Duo Exhibition of the work by member-artists Mariel & Jean-Michel Philibert (painting) as well as Hélène Valenzuela and Yves Bercion (interactive photographs) at L'Artocarpe. Refer to the Art(o)work section to view some of their work.

Monday 28 May to Sunday 03rd June 2012: Gosier Hotels (venue yet to be announced)- L'Artocarpe shall be part of the symposium of the Caribbean Studies Association with Gina Ulysse
