Rosie Gordon Wallace a intéressé plus d'un membre de L'Artocarpe! Après sa visite l'an dernier avec une équipe de 11 artistes, nous l'avons retrouvée à Miami, lors de l'événement Tilting Axis, pour lequel, Rosie a été l'une des figures principales. Rencontre en image avec cette manager d'artistes...

The idea of relocating our AGM in Martinique, came at our last January meeting when the board noticed the increased of members coming from Martinique.
We therefore took the entire year to work on the possibility to relocate our annual meeting, which proved a fantastic opportunity to reinforce the group spirit.
While only a few members from Guadeloupe and Dominica, came to Martinique, other members located in Paris and the rest of France were able to vote for in favour of our new chair, who was, of course present to the meeting.

 

L’Artocarpe is to present Lana, 29, to its members in consideration for the post of Interim Chair of L’Artocarpe for the year 2016. The nomination will have to be confirmed by vote, by the members of L’Artocarpe at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), which this year, will take place in Ford-de-France.
 
Although L’Artocarpe is based in Guadeloupe, in the rural town of Le Moule, the next AGM is for the first time scheduled to take place on the sister island of Martinique, to better reflect the presence of artist members living there.
 
Therefore on Saturday 23^rd january 2016, members will decide whether or not to confirm the board’s proposal to have Mrs Kustova as new Chair of L’Artocarpe.
If voted, Mrs  Kustova will take over for Joëlle Ferly’s position, held since the launch of L’Artocarpe, back in 2009.

To apply is very easy! Just send an informal folder with details of your current work as well as the equipment required and the precise period that you wish to come.
Our art committee shall process your application. You shall receive more details on the cost and administration details, along with an answer on availibility.

2015: an outstanding year for our small organisation!
L'Artocarpe was set up in 2008 to be launched in 2009. In six years of running, our platform has quickly become a strong reference for the promotion of contemporary art. With over 70 members who have registered since then, L'Artocarpe is proud to have assisted artists, academic researchers, art professionals such as critics and curators in the promotion of their work. L'Artocarpe has influenced many to further study art; to set up their own studio; to publish; to try different avenues; to work in pairs or in group and above all, to be part of a real international network...
